Elly Maddy is a Director at Protiviti, a global specialist internal audit firm. She has 13 years’ experience providing outsourced and co-sourced internal audit services to her clients. Elly has significant experience auditing complex payroll environments across the public and private sectors. This includes undertaking payroll recalculations, payroll process reviews and audits on associated processes such as rostering, recruitment, and employee onboarding.

Jacob is an experienced internal audit professional who understands the need to apply a practical risk based lens to payroll assurance. He has worked with clients to manage their payroll risks from multiple angles including implementation and configuration of payroll systems, assurance across day-to-day payroll, and managing wage remediations.
He understands the benefits and challenges associated with leveraging data to provide increased assurance for clients and has delivered and led numerous audit, assurance and risk services across a range of industries with a particular focus on Mining, Financial Services and Public Sector Clients.
He is a Certified Information System Auditor with ISACA and professional member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Australia.
