Bathurst Regional Council - Expressions of Interest - Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC)

Bathurst Regional Council is recruiting two independent committee members for its Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC). One committee member will perform the role of the Chairman of the ARMC. 

The ARMC is an advisory Committee assisting the Council to fulfil its governance and oversight responsibilities. The Committee ensures that there are adequate and effective systems of internal control in place throughout Council and will assist in the implementation of the internal and external audit plans. The Committee is also to provide advice to the Council for the purpose of improving the Council’s performance of its functions.

Central NSW Joint Organisation invites suitably qualified and experienced persons to submit a Proposal to be an independent member of Audit, Risk and Improvement Committees for participating member councils, upon the conditions set out in this EOI. This EOI builds on the previous EOI process which was conducted in early 2022, with the intention of increasing the number of providers on the panel.
