The WA Chapter is pleased to present our next event within the Digital Transformation Series: Internal Audit leveraging Technology. This event will be taking place Tuesday 18th May, both virtually and in-person at KPMG Perth office (based on St George's Terrace) Join our round table discussion as we talk through how an internal audit function can practically understand and apply technology in an internal audit context.

Terms like intelligent automation, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning are the buzz words of today. But what do these really mean? Internal audit functions need to be aware of what these are and when (or not) these types of technologies can be used. Some internal audit functions have already begun moving away from point-in-time sample testing to continuous auditing over entire populations to provide assurance over the operating effectiveness of key controls. We know that technology can be used to transform the way we plan and execute internal audits but as internal audit functions, it is also important to leverage technology to transform the function itself (i.e. by upgrading tools, capabilities and methodologies).

There are limited attendance spaces at the KPMG office, so be quick to register if you want to attend in person.
