Eric Wang Manager Functional Audit Internal Audit and Advisory BHP

Eric Wang is a Manager in the Functional Audit and Advisory team at BHP. Since joining in 2018, he has been responsible for delivery audit work across the global Functions as well as helping drive the Risk Culture Assurance methodology development and execution on audits. Prior to joining BHP, Eric started his career at RSM before taking on a number of senior manager roles in Internal Audit at OfficeDepot, Worley Parsons and the Kraft Heinz Company. He has worked on delivering internal audit, risk management and technology audits across Asia Pacific and US with extensive experience in retail, mining and supply chain. Eric is a Certified Practising Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Information Systems from the University of Melbourne.

 

Heather Brown Vice President, Functional Audit and Advisory

Heather Brown joined BHP in January, 2018 as Vice President, Functional Audit and Advisory. Heather is responsible for all audit work delivered across the global Functions and more recently has led the Risk Culture Assurance methodology development. Prior to joining BHP, Heather held a number of Executive roles including Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Internal Audit at GE Capital Australia and New Zealand and Executive Director at KordaMentha. Heather has also held a number of Audit leadership roles at National Australia Bank and began her career at Deloitte. She has extensive experience in both consulting and corporates in Audit, Risk and Compliance in addition to Finance, Human Resources and Transformation. Heather is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Monash University.
